Do I need to leave my current vet practice?
No. Home Vet Nurse works alongside your existing vet practice rather than replacing it. Katie shares notes after every visit where applicable, so your vet stays fully in the loop.
What if my pet needs to see a vet during a visit?
Home Vet Nurse is a nursing service, not a replacement for veterinary diagnosis or emergency care. If Katie spots anything that needs a vet's attention, she'll tell you straight away and help you get seen quickly, either at your own practice or an out of hours emergency clinic.
How much does a visit cost?

What areas do you cover?
Most of Glasgow and the surrounding area is covered free of charge, with a small travel surcharge further out. Check your postcode on the homepage coverage checker for an instant answer.
Do you treat cats and other pets, or just dogs?

Is Katie qualified and insured?
Katie Lunn is an RCVS-registered veterinary nurse with 16 years of experience across small animal practice and referral hospitals, and is fully insured and DBS checked.
How do I book a visit?

What is Pet laser therapy, and is it safe?
It's a medical grade, drug free treatment that eases pain and speeds up healing, often used for arthritis, stiff joints and recovery after surgery or injury. Katie is a certified Pet laser therapist, accredited to use class 3b and 4 lasers on small animals. See the Pet laser therapy section for more detail.
